There is word circulating here in the neighborhood.

for the sake of all Creation

There is word circulating here in the neighborhood that Israel is considering withdrawing from the Sheba Farms/Ghajar Village ares along the Northern border.
The area, very strategic the way it sits, overlooking all of the Galilee “panhandle”, was occupied by Israel as a result of the 1967 war with Syria.
Hizbullah has claimed it as a part of Lebanon and the justification for continuing their “resistance” against Israel, including the killing and stealing of the bodies of the soldiers that set off the 2006 war.
However as the area has been under Israeli occupation since 1967 it could not have been a part of Lebanon! rather it is also a point of contention between Syria and its former holding, Lebanon.
NOW apparently Israel is considering evacuating the area, if UNIFIL indeed takes full responsibility for it not being used for military operations against us.
SO, if the sole remaining reason for the continued violence against Israel by Hizbollah is due to the continued occupation of Ghajar, will our withdrawal end the hostility by Hizbullah?
OR is their violence motivated by other considerations, which have nothing to do with the land or people of Lebanon?
The other relevant question is: Is it reasonable or prudent for us to trust the official mandated UN representative on the ground, UNIFIL, now or in the future?
