Barry Shaw – Britain’s Muslim Police Association’s Anti-Jewish, anti-Israel, Bias Exposed
In Britain, the Muslim police association has been accused of undermining the service’s impartiality by espousing pro-Palestine views.
The National Association of Muslim Police (NAMP) published papers defending Hamas, described terms such as “Islamist” as Islamophobic and platformed Muslim leaders with questionable views, according to the UK Policy Exchange think tank.
This think tank said the convention that police operate “without fear or favour” is being threatened by staff organisations such as the NAMP by straying into contested political areas.
Baroness Falkner, the former chairman of the Equality and Human Rights Commission, said: “Too often, as this paper shows, we see staff networks straying into contested ideological, religious or political territory.
“If the public no longer believe they can trust the police to always operate according to the most fundamental of principles – to act without fear or favour – we would see risks to the rule of law itself.”
Peter Clarke, a former head of the UK’s Counter-Terrorism Command, said the timely report raised over “key issues” of staff networks’ “influence on operational policing decisions.”
This official UK Muslim police association describes Zionism as “one of the manifestations of anti-Muslim hatred, stripping Muslims of their humanity” and referred to the IDF as one of several “Zionist terrorist groups.”
This official UK Muslim police association also defended Hamas against what it described as “alarming and unverified stories about acts of violence” committed during and after the attacks of Oct 7, 2023 – including reports of beheadings and assaults, which it suggested, “had served principally to increase hostility towards Islam.”
In other words, the truly genocidal savage invasion of Israel by Palestinian mass murderers, rapists, torturers, and rapists, killing over a thousand Israelis, had served to “increase hostility towards Islam.”
Give me a break, NAMP!
In an understatement, the Jewish Leadership Council (JLC), complained to Sarah Jones, the policing minister, suggesting that this paper raised serious questions over police impartiality.
It does far more than that. It koshers Britain’s police force’s bias and anti-Semitism.
The NAMP subsequently removed the paper from its website after it was publicised and later issued a statement saying it did not support terrorism and that the document did not represent its views.
It did, but it was embarrassed when their anti-Israel bias was revealed.
In a failed attempt to pin guilt on anyone pointing out their own bias, NAMP warned that use of the term Islamist “reinforces Islamophobia, by creating a higher risk of extreme Right-wing radicalisation.”
No, it does not. Particularly when the terrorists use that term to describe themselves, as in “Palestinian Islamic Jihad” or when a Hamas supporter will point you to their founding charter and the religious nature of their Jew-hatred.
When a senior NAMP figure posted positively on X about Bilal Philips, a prominent Islamic preacher who had previously been banned from entering the UK and other countries including Germany, Denmark and Sweden, for his “extremist” comments on suicide bombing and homophobic and misogynistic remarks, you know that your police force has a problem.
Until this Muslim UK police association can prove itself clean of anti-Semitism, anti-Israel rhetoric, and it being a force containing anti-Jewish officers, staffers and managers, it can only be looked on as a detriment to the British police force and a danger to the security of British citizens, particularly its Jewish citizens.
