Susan Eisenstein – Justin Yehuda Iron Dome Coffee: What Might Be Justin’s Proudest Story To Date
When Justin Yehuda, Founder and CEO of Iron Dome Coffee, took a trip to Thailand, he did not know that a friendship made on that trip, was going to change everything. Justin Yehuda met a lot of people in Thailand, but an Israeli named Dael was the one who stood out to him.
“We fell into the kind of conversations that make the clock stop mattering, hours of talking and laughing. And by the end of the trip I felt like I’d known him my entire life,” Mr. Yehuda said. “When we said goodbye, he told me he was going back to serve in the IDF. We stayed in touch. Then the text came in from Dael that changed everything.”
“Hey, we don’t have the supplies or equipment that we need.” Those are his words, not mine. He’s a reservist in the Paratroopers Brigade, home from Syria for barely three months before being called up again, now in Lebanon on a 100-day deployment. When a friend sends you something like that, the only real question is how fast you can move.”
So on Monday morning, Justin partnered with Belev Echad and asked his newsletter readers for $5,000 to cover the unit’s food, gear, and basic supplies. Iron Dome Coffee put in the first $500 themselves.

The name Belev Echad is Hebrew for “One Heart,” and they are devoted to Israel’s wounded soldiers and their families, rehabilitation, retreats, and community events that carry a soldier through the long road after injury. And Belev Echad brings wounded veterans to meet supporters around the world so nobody walks it alone. Iron Dome Coffee donates 18% of its profits to organizations protecting Israeli lives and Belev Echad is one of them. Their name is printed on the back of every bag that Iron Dome Coffee ships.
Justin Yehuda told Israel Seen,” When Dael’s unit needed help, I couldn’t raise the money myself. So Belev Echad stepped up to host the fundraiser, which means every dollar runs through a registered nonprofit straight to the unit.”
As of August 12, 2026, Belev Echad raised the goal to $10,000, and that goal has now been passed too.
“And two days after launch, says Justin Yehuda, “the unit’s captain sent a thank-you note in Hebrew addressed to “the dear Iron Dome Coffee Community family.” “I translated it for my readers, and I answered in kind: Anachnu ge’im bachem. Hagiborim shelanu. We are proud of you. Our heroes.”
