I have wanted to write about Baker’s for almost two months but the war with Hamas didn’t give me the time to share my enthusiasm and delighted surprise at such high quality baked goods.
Many years ago I had traveled through France on my way to Israel and after tasting Bakers French pastry I experienced a flashback sitting in a Paris café drinking a latte and eating pastry that consoled the soul.
In the heart of Tel Aviv, just off of Sheinken St. overlooking the park “Baker’s” opened its doors to rave reviews. All of the breads, pastry and cakes are baked on the premises from the highest quality materials.
Most of the time you can find Lior Glickman owner and entrepreneur serving tables and taking orders. He has a strong background in the baking and service ends of the business.
I enjoy taking friends to Baker’s for a light meal and great coffee. My wife and I love the challah freshly baked for Shabbat. It is moist and tasty. I have never had the desire to really share my experiences about the eating places we go to in Tel Aviv but Baker’s made it easy to do.
Disclosure: I did NOT receive any gratuities for this review. It is out of my delight and enthusiasm for the establishment.
