| UN WATCH’S 200-PAGE REPORT PROVING UNRWA TERROR TIES
After speaking in the German Parliament, UN Watch Executive Director Hillel Neuer traveled to Rome last month to present the organization’s 200-page report, Schools in the Grip of Terror, uncovering for the Italian public and decision-makers how Hamas terror chiefs control UNRWA’s education system.
Speaking in a packed hall in the Italian Senate, Neuer presented new evidence that Hamas chiefs simultaneously served as UNRWA school principals, union leaders, and senior educators — while openly glorifying terrorism, recruiting children into militant activity, and blocking reforms such as Holocaust education.
FRANCESCA ALBANESE SERVED WITH COURT PAPERS
At the Senate in Rome, Neuer also presented UN Watch’s recent legal memorandum, filed with the United Nations legal counsel, making the case that Francesca Albanese’s purported reappointment in April was carried out in complete violation of the UN’s own rules, and was therefore null and void.
As a result, UN Watch demonstrated that Albanese no longer enjoys UN immunity, and can be sued, sanctioned, and prosecuted. On July 9th, she was sanctioned. On September 8, she got sued. Last weekend, she was startled to be officially served by a Sheriff with court papers in the middle of a lecture event in South Africa.
MEDIA COVERAGE ACROSS ITALY
On the eve of Neuer’s testimony at the Senate in Rome, Italy’s national newspaper La Stampa published an article on UN Watch’s report. Neuer was also interviewed live on Radio anch’io, a leading current affairs program.
A day after his Senate presentation, Neuer gave a press conference at Rome’s Palazzo Grazioli for the Foreign Press Association, broadcast live by Radio Radicale.
In addition, Neuer’s visit and UN Watch’s report on UNRWA’s terror ties were reported widely by Italian media outlets Il Tempo, Il Riformista, Formiche, and more.
Likewise, local Jewish publications — including Bet Magazine, Mosaico, and Shalom — also reported on Neuer’s visit, and advocacy groups like Project Dreyfus promoted Neuer’s testimony on social media. |
