#BringBackOurBoys . In an effort to raise awareness and support for the IDF’s search and rescue efforts for the three kidnapped Israeli teenagers – Gil-Ad Shaer (16), Eyal Yifrach, (19) and Naphtali Frankel(16) – ardent supporters of OneFamily (www.onefamilytogether.org), Israel’s leading national organization dedicated to the rehabilitation of victims of terror attacks and their families, organized their own Ultra Marathon fundraiser.
#BringBackOurBoys
Beginning Thursday night, June 19 and continuing into Friday June 20, Jason Gardner (originally from New York), Marc Romain (originally from Johannesburg), and Leviy Levine (originally from New Jersey) led Team OneFamily’s Elite Ultra Marathon group on a 77-kilometer run to support the IDF’s “Operation Brother’s Keeper.”
The campaign (http://www.rootfunding.com/campaign/4828) continues to raise that will be allocated to directly assist the national search and rescue effort.
The Ultra Marathon’s grueling route was ripe with inspiration. On Thursday evening at 9:00 PM, the group prayed Maariv in Talom with the family of Gil-Ad Shaer. At 1:15 AM Friday morning, they recited Tehillim at the Kotel on behalf of the boys. A few hours later, they arrived in Nof Ayalon to pray Shacharit with the Frankel family. Their final stop was Elad at 1:00 PM, where they visited the Yifrach family and recited additional chapters of Tehillim.
All three families were deeply touched by the initiative and expressed sincere gratitude for the outpouring of support.
