This Week’s Sanity Report from Israel May 9, 2021
In this week’s newsletter, Israelis are using smart thinking in many ways. In medicine, brain stimulation treats depression; good bacteria fights cancer; and Artifical Intelligence discovers new antiviral molecules, examines CT scans and trains medics. Smart Israeli systems help discover new planets, revolutionize manufacturing, accelerate software development, boost innovation in the region, recycle tires and teach children to speak. Israelis have re-invented the wheel, the electric motor and the automobile. Finally, smart Israeli social activities and programs are reversing negative perceptions and building new friendships.
The photo (TY Sharon) shows that as Jerusalem Day begins, though some Jerusalem streets may be bumpy, the flags are still flying.
The highlights include:
- New Israeli treatment allows multiple myeloma patients to get bone transplants.
- Israeli kidney specialist donates his own kidney.
- Israeli leaders host Muslims for Ramadan events.
- Israel’s next astronaut will supervise 44 Israeli space experiments.
- An Israeli startup is recycling worn out car tires.
- An Israeli consultancy is project managing a new industrial zone in Dubai.
- Unique videos, photos and a new discovery to help celebrate Jerusalem Day.
