We have been so blessed to have City Kids in Tel Aviv. This is the 2nd anniversary of this amazing center for children that enables English to be spoken and encouraged along with Hebrew. The activities for the winter are now available.
Toddler Movement
This class provides children an opportunity to pause for a breath, a stretch and for an introduction to basic yoga poses. Kid’s yoga promotes strength and flexibility; focus and attention; confidence and self-esteem; relaxation and self-control and love for one’s self, inside and out. Children play yoga by imitating animals and nature, with creative expression, games, music and storytelling.

Crazy Constructions
Design and build towers, bridges, houses, roller coasters, vehicles, and other super structures. Students will explore and experiment with wood, plastic, and other various materials. Students will learn about engineering, architecture, and physics while inventing and creating their own toys and projects.

Growing gourmets will have the opportunity to work with Delicious Israel’s, Inbal Baum while cooking and having fun in the kitchen! Culinary students will be introduced to cooking vocabulary and techniques, tools and utensils, basics of etiquette, nutrition, safety, kitchen math and new foods!

During this course students will create handmade beads, pendants and charms using a variety of materials. They will acquire beading skills and learn how to use specialized jewelry-making tools for attaching jewelry findings, such as clasps and jump rings. A highlight of the course is making jewelry from Shrinky Dinks, the novel plastic that shrinks to 25% of its original size when baked, and is perfect for making original charm necklaces, bracelets, earrings, and other unique accessories.

Music Around the World
This workshop is a unique, interactive music class for children 2-5 years old that encourages kids to explore the world by enjoying global music, rhythms and movement. In weekly, 45 minute sessions, kids and their parents/caregivers sing, dance and play together while experiencing different languages, cultures and traditions.

Junior Science
By exploring themes such as magnetism, recycling, absorption and light, children’s eyes and minds are opened, and they see the world around them a little differently. Hold on to your test tubes and put on your goggles — it’s going to be an explosive ride.
