Located amidst the beautiful Kullu hills of the Indian state of Himachal Pradesh, Kasol is a town with natural peace and tranquility, which soothes many Israelis soldiers who have just completed their military service. The Himalayan village also offers trekking and has always been a hippie paradise. More than 70% of the foreign tourists, who reach the place, are Israelis. No wonder, the place has lots delicious Israeli food to offer as well.

The legendary Indian city Pushkar is located in Ajmer, a district in the state of Rajasthan). Apart from the spiritual thirst of some tourists, Pushkar also has the camel rides, jungle safaris, and lakes that the Israelis enjoy. Many signposts here are in the Hebrew language, as Pushkar has always been a favourite for the Israeli soldiers and veterans. Goa is like a mini out-post for the Jewish state today, with a number of cafes, restaurants and resorts owned by the Israelis themselves. Every menu in Goa has the Israeli food (including the Israeli Salad, and the Schnitzel). There is lots of music, and even bhaang (the Indian marijuana) that offer the Israeli MOTs and tourists a break. Many locals in Goa speak Hebrew (like in Pushkar or Kasoli), and the cultural bonds are quite deep now. You will find that the local shops have the Hebrew signs.

The gateway of the Garhwal Himalayas has a number of Yoga centers, and is rightfully termed as the Yoga capital of the world. Many Israelis soldiers and war veterans learn the Yoga here.
