So that is out of the way, we now know what denial is, so what is the Western World denying? I make no apologies for this article – many may find it very politically incorrect.
Sometime in about 2004 a letter was published on the internet purporting to have been written by a Spanish Journalist regarding the “Death of Europe in Auswitcz”. The author cannot be authenticated (probably a fictitious name for self-protection) but the sentiments expressed are difficult to oppose. The main premise is that multiculturalism and the massive rise of Muslim immigration (and its birthrate) in Europe and the USA was leading to the Western World’s downfall (the article specifically refers to Spain).

The Muslim world population in 2013 was 2.04 Billion & 2014 is = 2.08 Billion ** Carnegie Endowment for International Peace (representing about 20%- 25% of the world’s population. I am not trying to say that Islam, as a basic religion is bad, many of its tenets are peaceful, but the denial is based on not recognizing the rise of ‘Islamic Jihad’ within its midst. And it is rising within every Muslim community wherever it is found.
There are violent conflicts happening now, in many places in the world, most of them as a result of ‘Islamic Jihad’ in one shape or form. One needs only to read of Iraq, and the atrocities being carried out there, Boko Harum, the 9/11 attacks on the twin towers in the USA, and many others, to realize that most of them are conducted by Islamic Jihadists in their quest for world domination and a global Jihad culminating in a world-wide Caliphate.

Indeed, when talking of a caliphate, the Islamic Jihad doesn’t just talk about conquering the world, but killing all who follow different beliefs and anyone who will not convert to their brand of Islam.
A report in the British newspaper, The Daily Express, says: The ambition of the jihadists – from al-Qaeda to Hamas, Hezbollah, Boko Haram and more – is to subjugate the entire world.
When President Obama clearly stated that, “The future has no place for those who would slander the Prophet of Islam” He has also been noted as saying that there are “more than a billion people who practice Islam and an overwhelming majority of them . . . reaffirm peace and justice, and fairness and tolerance. I think all of us recognize that this great religion in the hands of a few extremists has been distorted to justify violence against innocent people that is never justified.” I find myself wondering if perhaps I had been thinking of a different Islam.

Over the last few weeks there have been a plethora of anti-Israel demonstrations around the world, many of them showing support, for Islamic terrorist organizations such as Hamas, ISIL, Taliban etc. and the majority are led by ‘moderate’ ‘peace-loving’ Muslims. Many of them have become extremely violent, some of them more of a riot than a demonstration, Paris with its burning cars is one such example.

In recent days we have seen the barbaric atrocity of the beheading of a journalist in Iraq, apparently carried out by a British born Jihadist. Indeed, if those lambasting Israel for defending itself against Hamas would actually see the truth, they would realize that Israel is in the forefront of the battle against Islamic Jihad.
So this all brings me to a question that I have not seen put in any of the many media outlets that I look at.
If Islam is a religion of peace as so many try to tell us, and the Jihadists are just a tiny minority of them, where are the anti-Jihad demonstrations from peaceful Muslims? Where are the peaceful Muslims (the two odd billion of them) shouting that they disagree with Jihad? Where are the peaceful Muslims of the Western world decrying what is being done in their name? I haven’t seen them, have you? Why is the media afraid to ask this question? It could be political correctness – you may think so – I do not even try to suggest it – it would appear to me, that in their unwillingness to oppose the minority who are Jihadists and part of their community, that the majority of Muslims actually, to some degree, agree with Jihad. After all, it is the basis of parts of their religious scriptures in the Koran.

To the contrary, I have seen pictures of cheering Palestinian Muslims handing out sweets in the street and celebrating the atrocities of 9/11 – “A group of Palestinians were filmed celebrating in the street in celebration of the attacks on the World Trade Center and the deaths of Americans. Fox News reported that in Ein el-Hilweh, Lebanon’s largest Palestinian refugee camp, revelers fired weapons in the air, with similar celebratory gunfire heard at the Rashidiyeh camp near the southern city of Tyre as well” and “Polls taken by Saudi-owned Al Arabiya and Gallup suggest some support for the September 11 attacks within the Islamic world, with 38% believing the attacks to be not justified, while 36% believing them to be justified.[29] A 2008 study, produced by Gallup, found different results with 7% of the sample of Muslims polled believing the 9/11 attacks were at least ‘completely justified’, while 23.1% believed them to be ‘somewhat justified’ Wikipedia
Will the Western World come out of its denial to what is already in its midst? How can they combat that part of the world that only wants its destruction? I wish I was wise enough to come up with a solution. One suggestion would be that every practicing Muslim in whatever country he is settled or wishes to settle in, (other than an Islamic state of course), should be required, by law, to swear an oath of allegiance, on the Koran, to the state in which he wishes to live, and if not prepared to do so, should be deported, immediately, with no recourse to any other alternative. I for one do not wish to see Britain, Europe or America become Muslim states. That is not racist, it is pragmatic. We can debate opinions but not facts and the facts are that the Jihadists want to kill us! I object to that – quite somewhat!
It is beholden on Western governments to come out of their self imposed multi-culturist haze and start to smell the coffee. They need to stop being afraid of perhaps being called “Racist” in the endeavour to defend themselves against Jihadist racism! For far too long, we, the democracies of this world, have been held to ransom by terrorists and Jihadists. The USA’s claim to eradicate terrorism in the Muslim world failed. Killing Osama Bin Laden was not the end of the mission, it was the beginning, but they failed to see it and the birds are coming home to roost. A lack of understanding of the Muslim faith and the Jihadist ideology are the root cause of our failings in this respect and I just hope that we are not too late to rectify the situation. Action is required, and soon. I am reminded of what the author, Frederick Forsyth had to say: “The millions are still hoping for salvation from the most evil scourge since the Nazis but no innocent was ever saved by yet another committee meeting”.
