We are pleased to present the first of a series of four lectures given at the Jewish meditation retreat held at Kibbutz Hannaton in the Galil, March 11-17, 2012.Our first lecturer is Rabbi James Jacobson-Maisels The main Topic of this lecturer is “Asking Questions”. The first one minute is in Hebrew and then the rest is in English.
Our first lecturer is Rabbi James Jacobson-Maisels who teaches Jewish Meditation, Jewish Spiritual practices and Jewish thought at the Hannaton Educational and Spiritual Center in the Galil. The Pardes Institute of Jewish Studies in Jerusalem and Mechon Hadar in New York City. Rabbi Jacobson-Maisels was educated at Brown Univerisiy, Oxford University and various Yeshivot in Israel. He is currently completing a doctorate in Jewish Mysticism at the University of Chicago. He is the founder of a new non-profit organization Or Halev, for the teaching of Jewish Meditation.
