IsraelSeen is pleased to announce a new series of programing; ISRAEL in the WORLD will explore Israel’s contributions to our planet, to humanity, to the well being of all people. That is what we will be sharing with you in the coming months.
This series will present in video, audio and the written word a brief, and varied picture of official Israel and ordinary Israelis contributing to the health, and healing of human beings where ever they may be, near and far.
We believe that this is an accurate expression of our religious values and our national destiny. We will make use of materials produced by a variety of organizations as some original interviews and productions.
Ben Gurion University of the Negev’s branch in the desert town of Sde Boker is a cutting edge school of environmental science. 100 students from around the world study solar energy, desert ecology and architecture, and other specialties. The biannual International Conference there on Drylands, Deserts, and Desertification is a highlight for the program. by Harvey Stein
