President Hollande of France broadcast to a shocked nation once again following the terrorist outrage in Nice, France.
I was able to get the full text before some verbal vandal, no doubt one of his spin doctors, excised parts of it.
I reproduce his opening remarks here in full, so that you can see that the French President is more realistic about the causes of the terror that continues to assail France than his broadcast words suggest.

| France has been struck on the day of her national holiday – the 14th of July, Bastille Day – the symbol of liberty, because human rights are denied by fanatics and France is clearly their target….
There’s no denying the terrorist nature of this attack of yet again the most extreme form of violence.
We have seen extreme violence and it’s obvious we must do everything to fight this terrorism. |
…. just as that other bastion of equality, liberty and fraternity, Israel, has been struck repeatedly, the rights of her citizens also assailed by the same fanatics, driven by the same impulses.
… and we regret now having supported Palestinian terrorism against Israel both morally and financially over the past half century.
… so we understand the Israelis and now no longer see them as intransigent but justifiably resolute. |
We may infer from this that, rather late in the day, the Europeans are at last beginning to realize that their support for Palestinian terror has made it into the New Normal which, though originating in Israel, is now being exported by Moslems and Arabs (almost always both, of course).
NB: Israel can take no responsibility for this produce of the West Bank not having been properly labeled in accordance with EU regulations.
