ESRA – Volunteering Together for the Community
Founded in 1979, ESRA is Israel’s largest English speaking voluntary organisation. It combines a packed calendar of activities for English speakers with a nationwide program of outstanding community and welfare projects. ESRA raises funds through membership, second hand shops, gifts, events and donations.
Student role models receive living accommodation in return for mentoring local children, thereby strengthening whole communities. “A win-win situation.”
