David Bedein – Save the lives of Gaza children

Hamas leaders of the 1.8 million Gaza community – 83% whom dwell in UNRWA refugee camps under the promise of the “right of return” to villages lost in the 1948 war – have declared that on Saturday, March 30, they will mobilize 100,000 Gaza children to break through fences of Gaza, under the war whoop of the “right orf return by force of arms”.

To that end, Hamas has demanded that UNRWA schools padlock their doors on Saturday and mandate that all UNRWA school children join this march, which promises to be bloody.

UNRWA has yet to agree to that demand.

Can Hamas be stopped from such an initiative?

It is hard to counter the directives of Hamas in UNRWA

Since 1999, Hamas won control of the UNRWA teachers union in Gaza and the UNRWA workers union in Gaza

Therefore, those who control the flow of cash to UNRWA must be held accountable.

What is the source of the $1.2 billion billion dollars that UNRWA garners each year?

I met with and asked that of the UN Secretary General staff, who asserted that the UN itself hardly allocates anything to UNRWA/

They answered that the donor nations are the only address to press, in order to influence UNRWA policy.

And here is the latest list of donations offered by 67 nations to UNRWA, issued in early March 2019.

Perhaps the time has come to mobilize donors to demand that UNRWA keep their schools open this Saturday.

Attached pls find a scanned list of all diplomats in Israel and the Palestininan Authority.

Why should we care about the deaths of the children of Gaza?

Answer by analogy. A good friend and colleague, Dr. Eli Lasch, of blessed memory, served as the director of medical services in Gaza for the Israel Civil Adminstration, and received an award from the World Health Organization for reducing infant mortality in Gaza.

Dr. Lasch was sometimes asked: Why did you not let them die? His answer: My name is Dr. Lasch, not Dr. Mengele.
