This week, StandWithUs is promoting the Buy Israel Goods (BIG) week, as part of the Buy Israel Week 2013 initiative, a partnership between Jdeal, StandWithUs, the Conference of Presidents of Major Jewish Organizations, and eleven Jewish media outlets throughout the US. Buy Israel Week will take place on February 25 – March 3, 2013.
StandWithUs promotes supporting Israel by purchasing Israeli products throughout the whole year, but here are a few simple things that you can do to support Israel this week:

1. Buy Israeli p roducts. You can purchase a variety of Israeli products in local stores or online. A great resource for this is the Buy Israel Goods website on which we partnered with the America-Israel Chamber of Commerce. Please note that the information in this database should be verified by users.
2. Spread the word. Tell your school, synagogue, church, community organization, friends and family to support Israel just by shopping! Israeli products can readily be found online and at local stores, and many are invaluable to the average home. Get a group together and take a trip to your local store to purchase Israeli-made goods. 3. Share your experience and help others support Israel! Shop for Israeli products with friends, take pictures and videos of yourself purchasing Israeli products, and send them to BIG@standwithus.com.
