Alex J. Sinclair – New novel offers a dark look at Israel’s extremist right wing

Alex J Sinclair is an educational consultant and an adjunct lecturer at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem. His first book, Loving the Real Israel: An Educational Agenda for Liberal Zionism, was a finalist for the 2013 National Jewish Book Awards. He holds undergraduate and master’s degrees from Balliol College, Oxford, and a Ph.D. from the Hebrew University of Jerusalem. He was a member of the faculty of the Jewish Theological Seminary for over a decade and has also taught at the Hartman Institute, Hebrew College, and the Schechter Institute of Jewish Studies. He lives with his wife and three children in Modi’in, Israel.
