A Few of Israel’s Boutique Wineries in the Judean Hills
My brother Bruce, lives in the States and has been visiting us in Israel yearly. Since he is a wine aficionado we decided to go on a boutique wine journey in the Judean Hills. Our guide and wine expert in his own right Yakov Feder took us to small boutique kosher wineries. Each had a unique story to share about the winery and its successes. They did not disappoint.
The wine tasting and nibbles at each winery made the journey smooth and pleasant. We visited Tzuba, Flam ( Flam has recently become a Kosher winery), Tel Maresha and Nevo in Moshav Matta. While each winery had their unique wines our personal favorite was the Nevo winery.
It is a small winery that only sells its wine at the moshav and/ or by email requests. They ship overseas. In fact my brother bought some wine for shipment and it arrived refrigerated at his office before he returned to the States.

We both highly recommend Yakov if you are interested in any variety of wine journeys in Israel. He drove us in his car and it was a pleasure to hang out with him all day.
