Teaching first aid to Bedouin students to build a faster response in the Negev
How can you respond to a medical emergency without an address? How can you arrive at a medical emergency in a town with no roads? Our teams in the Negev face these issues every day when responding to emergencies in Bedouin towns and communities. The answer – education, innovation, and community. We are teaching bedouin high school students first aid courses so that they can respond in their own communities, be ambassadors to the community itself, build bridges between first responders and the community leadership, and help guide our responders to the location of the person in need of help when an emergency occurs.
