This past month I had the pleasure of visiting the house of one of Israel’s greatest modern Hebrew poet’s C. N. Bialik in Tel Aviv. It is located on Bialik Street off the well known Allenby St. close to the fashionable Sheinkin Street and the famous Carmel market. The street has many wonderful buildings in the Bauhaus tradition and like Tel Aviv in general the old buildings are being renovated while keeping the integrity of the façade.

Before I knew it we were traveling as a family to a winery that Anat, my son’s wife to be, thought it would be fun to visit. But our love for good food and good wine encouraged her to first take us to a wonderful dreamlike restaurant situated in the middle of a goat farm at the Tal Shachar Meshek 17. Not only were the goats cute and friendly but the food was delicious. The goat cheese spreads, homemade jam and bread were a food lover’s delight.

These are photos were taken at the all night activities around the Rothchild street area of Tel Aviv. It was a wonderful feeling listening to the music and watching the live events playing out on the streets of Tel Aviv.
