Purim Commentary – as a model to understand the final Redemption

Upon a casual reading, it would seem that Haman, Ahashverosh, Mordechai and Esther are fully responsible for the events of the story. Intrigue, human jealousies and political machinations all account for the twists and turns within the Megillah as events of great significance to the Jewish Nation unfold.

American Artist Dale Chihuly Glass Exhibit in Tel Aviv

This gifted international artist works in glass  and has created a special exhibit for the Litvak Gallery in Tel Aviv. Born in 1941 in Tacoma, Washington, Dale Chihuly was introduced to glass while studying interior design at the University of Washington. After Graduating in 1965, Chihuly enrolled in the first glass program in the country at the University of Wisconsin. He continued his studies at the Rhode Island School of Design (RISD), where he later established the school’s renowned glass program and taught for over a decade.

VAYAKHEL offers a glimpse of improper Jewish leadership from which we can discern the attributes a true leader of Israel should possess.
