The Problems in the Middle East Made Simple

by Bill Levinson The problem is not nor has it ever been Israeli “occupation” of Arab land. The Arabs attacked Israel repeatedly prior to 1967, when Israel “occupied” no Arab land at all. The problem is that Israel is a living daily reminder that what passes for Islam in the region can offer its people nothing but poverty, superstition, ignorance, violence, and squalor. The same for Lebanese Christians, who are also a living daily reminder that what passes for Islam in the region is a primitive, superstitious, and violent dirt “religion” for ignorant Stone Age savages. (1st number = political rights, 2nd number = civil rights.)
