Democracy: On the possibility of a Jewish Democracy in Israel. I want to apologize that the video is not included in this last lecture. There appears to have been a glitch in part of the video and it is not functioning correctly. Technology has failed me in this situation. However, the Podcast is up and running.
I want to give special thanks to Zohar Raviv for his wonderful insights and honesty in addressing the needed questions that are of the utmost importance for Jews and non-Jews alike. Also, the need to understand that Jewishness, Judaism and our relationship to the State of Israel is complex and therefore enables the individual to re-establish their personal covenant with the community and the Jewish State. In this personal re-dedication the foundation of belief in oneself, in ones national identity and in ones G-d creates a strong human being and a Jew that commits oneself out of knowledge and experience and not through intimidation and ignorance.
I also want to extend our appreciation to Alma College and to our wonderful coordinator Anat for an amazingly successful beginning.
