Tetris, a daring challenge to the performer-spectator divide, seems worlds away from Arnica, a series of spare, intimate solos danced by
three women. Yet both works sprung from the mind of Israeli choreographer Noa Dar. In the past two decades, Noa has built a
wide-ranging repertory that has attracted audiences and critics alike. We recently sat down at her studio in Tel Aviv to discuss her rich
career path, the development of her movement language and creative process, and the relationship of her work to Israeli society and
culture.
